Beyond the mountains, beyond the sky
Inspired by the Collared Bush Robin (Scientific name: Tarsiger johnstoniae), a bird species endemic to Taiwan, this voicebank features a lively and adorable child voice.
The male Collared Bush Robin features dark blue-black plumage on its head and back, two white supercilium stripes above its eyes, a V-shaped orange-red patch on its chest, and a yellow belly. We've woven all of these distinctive traits into Li Xun's blue-black highlighted hair, orange-red cape, and yellow-toned top.
The Collared Bush Robin lives high up in the mountains, so anyone who hikes into the forests at that altitude has a chance of spotting it. That's why we gave its outfit an "explorer" theme: a newsboy cap on its head, a pair of suspender shorts, hiking boots, and a water bottle at its side—always ready to set off and explore the mountain forests.
Additionally, the satin ribbons in the fine details and the reflective ankle bands echo the imagery of mountaineering trail markers and bird banding, further enhancing the sense of wilderness adventure.
The newsboy cap has a ribbon sewn onto it; the water bottle has a little Collared Bush Robin sticker on it.
Hair features layered cuts with wing-like tips; hiking boots have an inner zipper for easy on and off.
